ISP Optics Gold Coated Mirrors feature a protected gold coating on a Pyrex® mirror substrate with an operating wavelength range of 0.7 – 12µm. Protected gold is the most efficient reflective coating over the entire Infrared (IR) wavelength range. In addition, Pyrex® is a low-expansion material, making it relatively insensitive to temperature changes. As such, ISP Optics Gold Coated Mirrors are ideal for a wide range of IR applications. A protective dielectric overcoat is deposited over the gold to protect the fragile coating from damage and to make cleaning and handling easier.
