Stainless steel irises are ideal for applications requiring environmentally stable construction. Made using stainless steel leaves and lever pin with a blackened brass housing, these units will not rust or corrode under normal environmental conditions. The lever travel from maximum to minimum aperture is approximately 90°. In addition to optical applications, stainless steel irises are often used for flow control.
